The entire international freestyle community came to the freestyle.ch
meeting, Europe’s largest freestyle sports event, which took place on the
“Landiwiese” in Zurich, Switzerland, from 22 to 24 September 2006. The
world’s ace snowboarders, freeskiers, FMXers and skateboarders staggered
spectators with their daredevil leaps, tricks and flips in their attempts to
capture the title of champion and a share of the $100,000 prize money. The
freestyle.champ winners were: Eero Ettala (snowboard, Finland), Martin Misof
(freeski, Austria), Mat Rebeaud (FMX, Switzerland) - the defending champion,
and Sandro Dias (skateboard, Brazil), who also won the crossover.champ
