In September 2005, over 30,000 eager fans flocked to the Hallenstadion in
Zurich, Switzerland, for the Monster Jam. Organized by Clear Channel
Entertainment - Motor Sports, the event was a mega hit and looks like
becoming a permanent fixture on Zurich’s entertainment calendar. The monster
trucks roar like wild animals as they race to leap and crash across wrecked
cars. They have wild-sounding names: El Toro Loco, Monster Matt, Grave
Digger and Inferno are just a few. Although these monster trucks may look
weird, they are in fact highly developed machines, solidly built for safety,
speed and that all-important crashing and crushing. |
