The C-B-R Leisure and Travel Exhibition, held each February at the New
Munich Trade Fair Centre, attracts about 130,000 visitors. The exhibition,
first held in 1970, is open to the general public and covers an area of
around 66,000 m2. In 2005, 1237 exhibitors from 67 countries took part with
a wide range of products and services. These included tourist offices and
associations, travel agents, tour operators, holiday accommodation from
camping sites to hotels, sports and leisure activities, caravanning and
camping, boats and all kinds of water attractions including diving and
fishing. In a survey conducted by independent researchers TNS Infratest, 75%
of exhibitors rated C-B-R as good to excellent. The quality of visitors and
exhibitor services, the clear layout of the entire exhibition and the
accompanying programme were also considered first-class. |
