Over 125 million visitors have been taken behind the scenes of some of the industries greatest
hits, at Hollywood’s Universal Studios, since the tours began in 1964. The guided tram tour of the so-called back lot is a combination of visits to film sets combined with theme park rides and special
effects. Universal Studios claims to be “The entertainment capital of the entertainment capital” and whilst that may be typical Hollywood
hype, it certainly offers a full day of amusement. The studio/theme park is
gigantic, spreading over 420 acres and filled with countless attractions.
Summer 2006 saw the addition of special effects from "The Fast and The
Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "King Kong" to this world-famous attraction. Also new on the tour is video narration by superstar Whoopi Goldberg in her usual lively
manner. |
