The beauty of the clear turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea is world
famous. Countless divers are attracted to its enchanting underwater world.
The sea not only holds a vast variety of colourful marine life but many
ships have found a watery grave in its depths. Shipwrecks are fairly common
on the Adriatic seabed, most stemming from World War II. But although much
rarer, remains of wrecks from long ago are also found. The locations are
usually well-kept secrets, to protect the wrecks from pillagers. The name of
this vessel and why it sank is shrouded in mystery. If only the wreckage
